7) Ready, Set, Test!

It looks like you're ready to take video visits for a test drive. Great idea! We highly recommend doing as many test appointments as needed to get you feeling comfortable. In no time at all, your stage fright will be gone and you will be conducting telemedicine visits like a rock star!

First thing's first, let's make sure you are prepared:

If you're using a platform that has an active integration...

  1. Create or edit a test patient and input your personal email address and personal cell phone on the patient record (remember: this email can't already be in use in the Chiron platform!).
  2. Schedule an appointment using your specific Telemedicine appointment type, using the correct provider for sometime in the near future.
  3. Navigate to https://clients.chironhealth.com with a provider's email and password.
  4. As the "patient", download the Chiron Health application on your iOS or Android device.
  5. As the "patient", complete the onboarding requirements in the application.
  6. As the "patient", click "start appointment".
  7. Join your visit from the Chiron Health Web application.
  8. That's it!

If you're using a platform that does not have an active integration...

  1. Navigate to https://clients.chironhealth.com with a provider's email and password.
  2. On the "Appointments" section on the right, begin typing your name.
  3. Click "Add New Patient"
  4. Enter your personal email address (remember: this email can't already be in use on the Chiron platform!)
  5. Enter your personal cell phone.
  6. Select the date, time, and provider and click "Create Appointment".
  7. As the "patient", download the Chiron Health application on your iOS or Android device.
  8. As the "patient", complete the onboarding requirements in the application.
  9. As the "patient", click "start appointment".
  10. Join your visit from the Chiron Health Web application.
  11. That's it!
Tip: If you are accepting insurance and collecting patient self-pay and co-pay payments, you will be prompted to put in your credit card and insurance. Don't worry, you simply need to do a "no charge" at the end of the appointment.
